first week...

of summer vacation is almost over! We have been so busy. BUSY, BUSY, BUSY! We started off the week with a little splashing in the kiddie-pool in the backyard. Tuesday we went to the mall to play in the play space. B had a good time...I think he was a little overwhelmed at first, but after a few minutes of looking around he got right to playing. Wednesday we went to story time at the library. Again, it took a little while for B to warm up and he did not want to stand and sing or do the hand motions to the songs. Maybe next week!! Thursday Grammers came to play so I could paint the bathroom. (We just had new tile installed in the master bath, and I am almost done with the painting....can't wait to post some pics. Soon, very soon.) They played inside, outside in the pool, watched a lot of "Mouse" and read some books...it was a good day! So good in fact that B slept until seven this morning. Now we are just relaxing.... good way to end the week. All this activity was accompanied by a few trips to Target, one stop by Lowe's, swinging at the park, and some movie watching in the living room floor!
